Aduana Stars has bolstered our squad with the signing of duo Mumuni Zakaria and Bright Adjei.

This brings to eleven the total number of players the Ogya Squad have signed this off-season, including Yahaya Mohammed, Wahid Issahaku, Richard Mpong, Noah Martey, Maxwell Frimpong, Sampson Wirekoh Boampong, Joseph Addo, Ebenezer Opoku and Yakubu Mohammed .

Zakaria, 20, joins the club on a three-year deal after an impressive season with WAFA in the just ended premier league season, scoring eight goals.

The young attacking Midfielder is expected to provide competition for Daniel Darkwah and Richard Mpong on the left side of the Aduana attack.

Meanwhile, the "Fire Club" has also snatched Bright Adjei, beating off competition from both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to secure the services of the 25-year old attacker.

Adjei was set to join the aforementioned clubs but Aduana Stars were swifter in securing the signature of the Tema Youth man for three years.

The two are expected to begin training on Tuesday, 19th January, 2016.

Aduana Stars have qualified for the final of the ongoing First Trust G6 tourney after thumping Medeama SC 3-0 on Saturday at the Essipong Sports Stadium

The Dormaa based club went into the game targeting the three points while the Mauve and Yellows needed only a point to get them to the final of the competition.

Aduana fetched the opener in the 20th minute mark through former Asante Kotoko player Yahaya Mohammed.

The Tarkwa based club had the opportunity to pull even but Francis Addo squandered the penalty to give Aduana Stars a big sigh of relief.

From the recess, Medeama SC fluffed most of their chances they created with Aduana’s shot stopper Joseph Addo being the outstanding player on the field.

As Medeama thought they were close to getting the equalizer, they got stunned when Daniel Darkwah in the 78th minute made it double for the “Ogya Mma” and late in the game Yahaya Mohamed made it three, which was his brace on the day.

Aduana Stars are now in the final and will come against Asante Kotoko on Sunday at 3pm.

After putting up a gallant resistance to the attackers of Hearts of Oak, Wahab Adams (Central Defender) was adjudged the Man of the match by the organizers of the First Trust G6 Tournament on Thursday.

Management and the Technical team therefore congratulate him for putting up such prowess in the game.

Accra Hearts of Oak managed to settle for a 0-0 draw game with Aduana Stars in our opening game of the FIRST TRUST G6 tournament at the Essipong Stadium on Thursday.

The match which was the second game of the day and the opening game for Group A could not produce any goal.

The two sides had to split points after both failed to bury the chances that came their way. Aduana Stars were composed and dictated the pace throughout the 90 minutes.

Efforts from Elvis Opoku, Daniel Darkwah, Yahaya Mohammed, Richard Mpong, Maxwell Frimpong and Wahab Adams to find the back of the net proved futile.

The game was however mauled by  the  power cut at the Essipong Stadium which delayed the match for about an hour forcing the few fans at the Stadium to leave in a disappointed mood.

Supersports, who also holds the television rights to show the game were also propelled to stop transmission and leave after the lights failed to come after sometime at the Stadium.

The game was however played at a virtually empty stadium after the issue was fixed as both teams secured a point each following a goalless draw game between the two sides.

The GHALCA G6 tournament hence failed to produce any goal in day one of the competition after the opening game between Berekum Chelsea and Ashanti Gold also ended in a goalless stalemate.

Day three of the competition will however see Aduana Stars play Medeama.
