The woes of Premier League side Aduana Stars was compounded on Sunday afternoon as they suffered their third straight defeat in the three-week-old 2015/16 Ghana Premier League, this time falling to Techiman City.

It very strange what is happening to the one time Ghana Premier League champions, who showed so much hope during the offseason. They made some very decent signings, but after three weeks of Premier league football, they have nothing to show for it.

They lost their first game to Inter Allie and again lost at home to Wa All Stars, an action that saw their head coach Nurudeen Ahmed resign his post a day after, with assistant coach Kwabena Ameyaw being asked to step aside as well

Edmund Kwasi Ankomah took charge as interim head coach for the Techiman City fixture.

Stephen Manu’s first half goal was enough to pick all three points for the premier league debutants.

Aduana Stars will welcome WAFA to the Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday, all with the hope of picking their first three points of the 2015/2016 Premier league campaign.
