Aduana Stars captain Godfred Saka says lack of concentration in defense cost the team in the last game, but he says the team will work on their mistakes ahead of the coming game.

The Ogya boys started slowly in the game against Inter Allies, and they were made to pay dearly as Allies shot into a two-goal lead.

Despite the fact that Aduana Stars came back strongly in the second half, they were not able to breach the Inter Allies defense.

Saka wants his side to correct their mistakes in the next game.

“We were in the game in the first 20 minutes, we matched them well in terms of ball possession,” Saka told aduanafc.com in the post match interview.

“But after that we lacked concentration in defense and that’s how they took the lead. We played better in the second half; we put pressure on them and created a lot of chances. But it was good luck to the Inter Allies team and hard luck for us.

“We are going to correct our mistakes and then start from there. We have new players and we are still working on our telepathy. We are hopeful we will be able to communicate better in our coming games. We are still working.”
