Aduana Stars FC midfielder Noah Martey says he wants to replicate his good performances last season at Aduana Stars.

The ex-Bechem United star had a stellar performance with his former side last season, netting eight league goals to help his side in the season.

Noah says he would love to score a lot of goals for Aduana Stars starting with Sunday’s game with Inter Allies.

“I had a good season with Bechem United last year and I would love to do same or better in Aduana. It does not only depend on me, I pray to God to grant me the strength to be able to have a good season here. I am praying for a good game on my debut and I hope to bring my experience to the Aduana team.”

Noah has also played for Inter Allies and he will be facing his former side on Sunday with Aduana Stars at the Tema Sports Stadium. The midfielder expects a tough match against Inter Allies and his former coach, Herbert Addo.

“We cannot take the game as an easy match because Inter Allies are playing at home. They will do all they can to frustrate us but if we prepare well, we can get a win. I believe if we put in more effort, we can get a win on Sunday,” he said.

“I have played with Inter Allies and I can say that their strength rests in their lateral defensive positions. They have very good left backs and right backs, and most of the time, their midfield is very strong. They like to attack on the wings. We just have to be cautious in those positions and when we chain them there, we can get the win. We have to be good in defense, midfield and attack to be able to get the win.

“I will be facing my former coach Herbert Addo too. He is a very good coach and when his side takes the lead, they coil back and become very hard to beat. So we have to tighten our defense and not concede first. Our game plan should be simple: if we don’t score, they should not score.

He added:  “I want to assure our fans that they should always keep us in their prayers and continue to exercise restraint when we go wrong. It’s better if they talk to the players one on one and show us what they feel we should do at certain times.”
